Hola! I´m Martín
I´m currently a Chilean Ph.D. student in Human and Social Dimensions of Science and Technology, at the School for the Future of Innovation in Society at Arizona State University. Some people say that I´m a martian, too. (or Mar-CN)
I am passionate for empower people (like teachers, citizens, and decision-makers) to navigate concepts and methods related to technology, to increase the awareness and understanding of our technological realities.
I define myself as a transdisciplinary scholar. I also practice Crossfit, bike around the city, and I do love teaching (even created a Coursera about Technology and Society)
My dissertation project is about (the lack of...) Socio-technical futures in Latin America under the supervision of Dr. Lindsay Smith, Dr. Lauren Keeler, Dr. Jameson Wetmore, and Dr. Michael Bennet (U of Illinois).
ALSO, IN APRIL 2022 I GOT A INVITATION TO TALK IN THE EVERYTHON IN MEXICO CITY BY @IAMINTERNET ABOUT LATIN AMERICAN FUTURISMS (IN SPANISH)
